Chopsticks originated in China during the Shang dynasty 1766BC and FooFitch draws on many historical references and presents them in a thoroughly new and exciting way.

A single Arc place setting includes a pair of classic Japanese style chopsticks, an Arthur Price contemporary range spoon and fork, and two cutlery rests. The rests are based on a traditional English design dating back to the 17th century when they were used by gentry. At the time the ruling classes enjoyed meals of up to 12 courses using only one knife and fork throughout. This is ironically not dissimilar to Chinese banquets, where multiple courses are served, but eaten with one set of chopsticks.

Per place setting: Two sterling silver cutlery rests with diamond solitaire, silver plated chopsticks, fork & spoon, (by Arthur Price of England) with nine pavé diamonds and a signature diamond solitaire.
